TreeDependent – Responsible events, responsible travel, responsible lifestyles project continues: we have managed to facilitate the planting of 462 native Hungarian fruit trees in 35 institutions (mostly schools and kindergartens).

The trees have been financed by 6 partners of the project. 2 of them are companies and compensate the carbon footprint of their events, 3 are private people taking responsibility of their travels, and GreenDependent itself also compensates its daily operation (including commuting by colleagues) by treeplanting.

Moreover we assisted another of our partner companies to hand out 172 trees to its employees.

GreenDependent purchases the trees from a gene pool called Tündérkert ("Fairy Garden"). Native trees have a much better biological tolerance than foreign tree species, thus they are more resistant so they do not need regular pruning and spraying. 

The trees will be planted in the next few days, but some of them have already been put in their „home”. Let us show you a few pictures about it.
