Edina Vadovics is a key expert in an EU project (URBACT Capitalization: Social Innovation in Cities) studying, evaluating and promoting social innovation in cities. The objective of the project is to collect and evaluate the social innovation related experience in projects supported through the URBACT framework, supplement them with experience from similar programmes in order to reflect on the lessons learnt and ensure that other cities can benefit from these experiences and adapt  to their own context the solutions to urban challenges developed within the programme.

The European Commission DG JRC analyses and researches the activities and development of ESCO as part of Scientific & Technical Reference System on Renewable Energy and Energy End-use Efficiency in order to provide accurate information to policy makers, experts and other interested parties. The latest ESCO Market Report for the EU Member States and neighbouring countries, relative to the market situation in year 2013, is now available.
